Day 1

First lesson of the day - How to use the shower... That was fun.  :)  After a face of ice cold water I got it down.  I think.  Word of the day - loofah - esponja de lufa.  I got to go to a couple little stores really quick and get a couple of things.  I also found out if I walk to the end of my block and look down the street I can see the top of the soccer stadium.  It looks pretty neat.  There is a meat store/ butcher shop across the street with ham legs hanging in the window.  Now I'm off for classes and orientation.  Wish me luck!  :)
