El Prado
I went to the Prado today with my house mate. It was amazing. So many paintings from different time periods and artists. It was amazing to see paintings that I have seen in textbooks in real life. That's pretty much all I accomplished today. However, I have a small list of other things I can check off.
- accidentally get lost in a busy round-a-bout (kinda like an intersection) with no crosswalks - check
- get honked at by the Spanish police for being lost in the round-a-bout - check
- see a Mad Hatter having tea on the side-walk outside the Prado - check
- see a couple sucking face on the street with no one paying any mind (PDA is acceptable here and hard to get used to) - check
- discuss the problems of the world with host mom for 1 1/2 (in Spanish) - check
Pictures are not allowed in the Prado, so please enjoy the few others I took. Thanks for reading. :)

Pretty Cathedral next to El Prado
There is a huge section like this down the middle of the main tourist area in Madrid. It's so beautiful and shady. There are more places like this in Madrid as well.
